Said Zouhdi received the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Pierre et Marie Curie University, France, in 1994 and the Habilitation degree in Electrical Engineering from Paris-Sud University in 2003. From September 1995 to August 2007, he was an Associate Professor at Pierre et Marie Curie University. He joined Paris-Saclay University as a Full-Professor and Head of International Affairs at Polytech Paris-Saclay in 2007 and promoted to Distinguished Professor in 2020.

His research interests include electromagnetic wave interaction with structures and antennas, complex materials such as metamaterials, chiral, bianisotropic and PBG materials, and optimization methods for various designs. He has published over 150 journal papers, book chapters, and conference articles. He is the founding and general chair of the international conferences META (metaconferences.org) and AES (aesconference.org), he edited 2 books and several special issues in journals. Dr. Zouhdi is a Fellow of The Electromagnetics Academy and IEEE Senior Member.
